Watson is a Golden Retriever that came to live with us in July of 2017.  He is a retired <a href=\"http:\/\/www.helpingpaws.org\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Helping Paws<\/a> Service Dog.  Watson loves to go for walks, snuggle, and chase tennis balls.<\/p>\n<p>Watson was diagnosed with hermangiosarcoma in the spring of 2020.  He had a 9 pound tumor removed from his belly along with part of his spleen and part of his liver.  Given the aggressive nature of the cancer, we knew the surgery was only going to buy a little more time with our boy, not cure him.  After a relatively good spring and early summer, the cancer returned in July and he was euthanized at the end of July 2020, surrounded by his family.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Meet Watson.
