I guess I&#8217;ve been busy.  Each year I create a &#8220;Best Photos&#8221; album for the year in Flickr.  Here is the album I created for 2018:<\/p>\n<p><a data-flickr-embed=\"true\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/pmarkham\/albums\/72157671728010518\" title=\"The Best of 2018\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/860\/28811164617_d42aacce2d.jpg\" width=\"500\" height=\"331\" alt=\"The Best of 2018\"\/><\/a><script async=\"\" src=\"\/\/embedr.flickr.com\/assets\/client-code.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>That album has 20 photos in it.  For the purposes of this post, I&#8217;m narrowing it down to six photos.<\/p>\n<p>They are:<\/p>\n<p><a data-flickr-embed=\"true\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/pmarkham\/29305078618\/in\/album-72157671728010518\/\" title=\"Michigan Trip - May 2018 - The Flowers of Mackinac Island\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/1764\/29305078618_66d4df56d4.jpg\" width=\"500\" height=\"331\" alt=\"Michigan Trip - May 2018 - The Flowers of Mackinac Island\"\/><\/a><script async=\"\" src=\"\/\/embedr.flickr.com\/assets\/client-code.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><br \/>\nThe is a beautiful garden of flowers I photographed on Mackinac Island in Michigan. This photo made Flickr&#8217;s &#8220;Explore&#8221; page and is one of my most favorited photos on Flickr.<\/p>\n<p><a data-flickr-embed=\"true\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/pmarkham\/29855782298\/in\/album-72157671728010518\/\" title=\"Duluth Trip - July 2018 - Lift Bridge on the 5th of July\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/942\/29855782298_c9cd861a4e.jpg\" width=\"500\" height=\"331\" alt=\"Duluth Trip - July 2018 - Lift Bridge on the 5th of July\"\/><\/a><script async=\"\" src=\"\/\/embedr.flickr.com\/assets\/client-code.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><br \/>\nThe fireworks from July 5, 2018 in Duluth.  They shoot them over the Duluth Harbor and I photographed them with the Duluth Lift Bridge framing them.<\/p>\n<p><a data-flickr-embed=\"true\" href=\"https:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/pmarkham\/27643795617\/in\/album-72157671728010518\/\" title=\"Michigan Trip - May 2018 - Sand Point (Escanaba) Lighthouse\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/live.staticflickr.com\/1751\/27643795617_1ea0f8689a.jpg\" width=\"500\" height=\"331\" alt=\"Michigan Trip - May 2018 - Sand Point (Escanaba) Lighthouse\"\/><\/a><script async=\"\" src=\"\/\/embedr.flickr.com\/assets\/client-code.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><br \/>\nI had to include at least one lighthouse.  This is the Sand Point Lighthouse in Escanaba, MI.
