I’ve always had a fascination with lighthouses. When I travel, I always look to see if there is a lighthouse nearby that I can visit and photograph. So far in my travels, I’ve visited lighthouses in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Maine, California, Florida, and Hawaii.
By far, the lighthouse I’ve spent the most time at is Split Rock Lighthouse on the North Shore of Lake Superior. It is one of the most visited lighthouses in the United States. Over the years, I’ve learned much of the history of the lighthouse as well as studied the technology that powered it.
