Two Harbors Breakwater Light

When I travel the North Shore of Lake Superior, Two Harbors, MN is always a stop that I enjoy. There are two lighthouses in Two Harbors. One is on the shore. The other is a small lighthouse that was built at the end of the breakwater that protects Agate Bay.

The tower and lantern were built in 1906 and remain in place today. The lighthouse has been modified over the years. Today, the original optic is no longer being used. Instead, the lantern displays a modern LED based optic.
